Volatile Organics

When you work with certain chemicals in consumer products and even household products, volatile organic compounds are emitted, affecting the indoor air quality. Exposure to VOCs can have a negative impact on human health, especially the central nervous system. You need photoionization detectors, or PIDs to monitor the levels of VOCs. At GDS Corp, we use high energy ultraviolet light to ionize the molecules and measure the flow of electrons and monitor the concentration of VOCs.
